This pretty stone cottage, with views of the Castle ruins is situated in the picturesque market town of Helmsley. Castle View Cottage is comfortably furnished and in an excellent location just two minutes walk to a choice of specialist shops, restaurants, tea rooms and public houses. The weekly market is still held in the square each Friday.

Helmsley’s location on the edge of the North York Moors National Park makes it an ideal base for visiting the coastal villages and towns of Robin Hoods Bay, Sandsend, Runswick Bay and Whitby.

Walking is very popular in this area with the Cleveland Way walk starting in Helmsley.

The historic City of York is just 23 miles away where you can visit many attractions including York Minster, Cliffords Tower, the Castle Museum, the Jorvik Viking Centre and the National Railway Museum to name but a few.
